Facilities
Optics Lab
Koch Center is home to the Science, Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics programs provided by the University of Evansville. The Building underwent a renovation with the building of a new addition, concluding in the Fall of 2001 and the renovation of the original building itself, concluding in the Summer of 2002.
The Optics Lab is used by students taking Phys 427 (Optics) and for summer research projects.
Computational Physics Lab
The Computational Physics Labs boasts high performance computing power consisting of over 20 cores using high-end processors for either CPU or GPU computations. These capabilities were most recently used for parallelized Monte Carlo simulations by a student.
Other Equipment
Other equipment that can be used for labs or research are a pulsed NMR machine, muon detectors, and a torsional oscillator.
